Sound Familiar?

Hundreds of properties across Central Texas face these same connectivity headaches.

  • Work calls freeze or disconnect right when the conversation matters most.

  • The provider’s map says “covered,” but the signal at your location says otherwise.

  • Streaming buffers when everyone in the household gets online.

  • You’ve tried hotspots, boosters, or different SIM cards—and the connection still isn’t reliable.

  • You’re paying for “high-speed” internet that still feels slow and unpredictable.

A faster plan cannot fix a weak connection.

The right solution starts with the signal actually available at your location.

Rural Property Connectivity

Challenge:
Weak, inconsistent cellular service made dependable internet access impossible at the property.
Solution:
Installed and aligned an outdoor 5G antenna based on the available tower, bands, terrain, and measured signal.
Result:
Delivered around 400 Mbps download and 60 Mbps upload, with stable connectivity for everyday internet use.

“We relied on mobile internet and a phone hotspot, which made remote work unpredictable. After SXTR Connect installed and optimized an outdoor 5G solution, we could work remotely with greater confidence.”

RV Internet

Challenge:
The RV’s indoor cellular signal was unreliable and affected streaming, browsing, and remote work.
Solution:
Mounted an outdoor SXTR antenna and optimized its direction and carrier connection for the location.
Result:
Download speed improved from 0–2 Mbps to a stable 85 Mbps throughout the RV.

“At our site on Padre Island, we could not get a usable signal inside the RV from any mobile carrier. SXTR Connect installed an outdoor antenna, got us connected, and showed us how to point it toward the best tower when we travel to our next destination.”

Business Backup Internet

Challenge:
The location needed a secondary internet connection to reduce disruption during primary-service outages.
Solution:
Configured cellular backup connectivity with managed network equipment and organized failover-ready cabling.
Result:
During simulated outage testing, the cellular backup maintained connectivity with measured latency of 25-65 ms.

“When our primary internet went down, essential business devices lost connectivity. SXTR Connect installed a dedicated cellular backup that helps us stay operational during service outages.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the free remote assessment include?
We review nearby towers, approximate distances, carrier coverage, likely LTE/5G bands, terrain, and available signal information to determine whether an outdoor solution appears practical.
Is the on-site assessment free?
On-site testing may be recommended when remote information is not enough. Any assessment fee will be explained and agreed upon in advance.
Which carriers do you work with?
We evaluate T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and compatible mobile service providers to identify the best available option for your location and equipment.
Can you guarantee a specific internet speed?
We cannot guarantee an exact speed. Before installation, we assess your location and advise you of the expected performance so you can make an informed decision. Actual speeds may vary with tower capacity, carrier service, bands, equipment, and network conditions.
Is the RV solution designed for use while driving?
No. The outdoor system is designed for use while the RV is parked. At a new destination, the antenna may need to be pointed toward the best available tower.
Will an outdoor antenna help at my location?
An outdoor antenna can often improve a weak or obstructed cellular connection, but results depend on the available towers, bands, terrain, distance, and local signal conditions.
What equipment does SXTR Connect use?
We select equipment based on the available signal and your performance needs. The MikroTik SXTR provides dependable LTE connectivity at speeds up to approximately 100 Mbps. For higher-performance 5G installations, we use the Quectel RM520N-GL with the 5G-RGM-O V2, supporting speeds up to 1 Gbps under suitable network conditions. Actual performance depends on the carrier, tower capacity, available bands, signal quality, and location.
How much does an SXTR Connect solution cost?
A remote pre-assessment is always free. Most installations total approximately $500–$1,250, including installation labor, LTE/5G equipment, and standard materials. An on-site assessment is typically $50–$100, depending on travel distance. Masts, poles, or other special materials may increase the cost. Customers may use their own Wi-Fi router, or we can provide one starting at $50. Carrier service plans are billed separately. You’ll receive a clear quote before any work begins.
Is ongoing monitoring and support available?
Your installation includes 30 days of support, starting when installation is completed, for issues related to the equipment we supply and our installation and configuration. We investigate reported problems and correct installation-related faults. Optional paid managed-connectivity plans provide broader, ongoing support as defined in your quote or support agreement. These plans may include connection and device monitoring, service alerts, remote troubleshooting, configuration assistance, and performance follow-up. Support-plan charges are separate from your carrier subscription, and pricing is confirmed before activation. Customers remain responsible for their own devices and BYOD equipment. Carrier availability, speeds, and plan restrictions remain outside our control.
Do you provide Starlink installation or support?
No. SXTR Connect specializes in LTE and 5G connectivity, signal optimization, professional installation, backup internet, and managed connectivity.
